Introducing the jury of the Slovak feature-length documentary film competition Cinematik.doc

Cinematik.doc is a competition of Slovak feature-length documentary films that premiered in the year preceding the festival. The Literary Fund Award Cinematik.doc, with a cash prize of €1,000, is presented by the Cinematik festival in conjunction with the Literary Fund, upon the recommendation of an international jury, for the best direction of a Slovak documentary film.

ESTER GEISLEROVÁ
Czechia
She is the youngest of the three artistically talented Geisler sisters. She studied design at an art school, but during her career she focused on modelling and currently mainly on acting in films and television series. She acted in films as a child, and in 2002 she won the Czech Elite Model Look. Her most notable film roles include, for example, the lead role of Agnes in F.A. Brabec's film Krysař, or Dorla in Milan Cieslar's film Krev zmizelého. She is currently also involved in the lecture and podcast project Terapie sdílením (Sharing Therapy), which focuses on relationships and communication.

DANIELA HANUSOVÁ
Slovenia
She is a curator and project manager for the international VOD platform DAFilms.com, which focuses on documentary and experimental film. Additionally, she works as the executive director of the Prague festival of augmented reality and immersive art, ART*VR, and as the coordinator of the film criticism workshop, Critics Academy, for the Locarno Film Festival. She occasionally writes for the Slovak slow film magazine Pontón. She graduated in Film Studies from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, and is currently completing her master's degree in Gender Studies at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University.

DANIEL RIHÁK
Slovenia
He is a graduate of film directing at VŠMU in Bratislava. His master's short film *Výlet* (2018) won the award for best directing at the student festival ÁČKO, the IGRIC creative award, and was shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Film Awards. He is currently preparing his debut film *Nikomu to nepoviem*.
