In just a few months, we will present the programme for the most successful film event in Slovakia, the preparations for which are in full swing. We are looking forward to the unique atmosphere of the festival and full cinema halls in Piešťany. The twenty-first edition of the Cinematik Piešťany International Film Festival will take place from 8 to 13 September 2026.

Holding such a demanding and extensive event as Cinematik in Slovakia isn't possible without grants and donations. This is also why we turn to our audience, whose support we greatly appreciate.

We would be delighted if you decided to donate your 2 % from your taxes to the festival. Thanks to these donations, we can bring you more high-quality films, concerts and discussions. Thank you for your support!

Should you decide to help us and Do you file your tax return yourself, calculate 2% (or 3%) from the tax paid and enter the following details in your tax return:

If you are employee, request by 15.2 at the latest. employer to carry out an annual reconciliation of paid advance tax payments. At the same time, ask them to issue the form Tax payment confirmation. From this receipt, you can find the date on which the tax was paid and calculate 2 % from the tax you have paid (the minimum amount is €3). Then complete the form Declaration of Allocation of a Share of Personal Income Tax Paid.

How to get a discount?

If you decide to make a donation to the 2% festival from your tax and in your tax return or declaration tick option „I agree to the sending of my data (first name, surname, and permanent address) to the designated recipient of the share of paid tax.", in 2027 We will send you a code which will reduce the price by 50% when you purchase your accreditation during the pre-sale period.
