Article I.
Introductory provisions and definitions of terms
- Event This is the 21st Cinematik Piešťany International Film Festival, which will take place from 8 to 13 September 2026.
- Seller and the provider of the services offered on the cinematik.sk or inviton.sk online shops is Cinematik, s. r. o., with its registered office at Lazaretská 2398/11, 811 08 Bratislava.
- E-shop operator is Inviton s. r. o., with its registered office at Nové Záhrady I. 11, 821 05 Bratislava, which, pursuant to the Ticket Sales Cooperation Agreement, concluded with the seller, acts as an intermediary – arranging the distribution and sale of tickets for the event via its own sales and booking portal, Inviton.
- The buyer is any visitor to the online shop who has placed an order via the online shop. For the purposes of Act No. 102/2014 Coll., a consumer is defined as a natural person who, when concluding and performing a consumer contract, is not acting within the scope of their business, employment or profession. The buyer fully accepts electronic communication, in particular via the online shop, by email and by telephone.
- E-shop It is a computer system located on the internet with public access, which allows the ordering of services.
- Service All products are listed on the e-shop website.
- Voucher This is confirmation allowing its owner, for a one-off fee, to obtain a Festival Pass for the event. The voucher cannot be resold, returned for sale, or exchanged.
- Festival Pass It is a card with a unique QR code that grants the purchaser access to all film screenings and accompanying events throughout the festival.
- Order It is concluded when the buyer confirms the ordering process in the online shop by selecting the services and completing the order form in full.
Article II.
Price
- All prices quoted for services are final and include 23 % VAT.
- The seller is bound by the price stated on the e-shop website at the time of purchase.
Article III.
Order
- An order is placed when the buyer completes the ordering process in the online shop by selecting the services and filling in the order form in full.
- To ensure your order is processed correctly, please fill in the required details on the order form and select your preferred payment method for the services you have ordered.
- By submitting an order, the buyer agrees to the price of the ordered goods and services. The order becomes binding for the consumer.
An order placed remains valid for 7 days, provided that the buyer pays the full purchase price for the goods ordered within that period. If this period expires without payment of the purchase price, the order shall be deemed cancelled. - Confirmation of the order by the seller gives rise to a contract of sale, which may only be amended, cancelled or supplemented by mutual agreement between the buyer and the seller, unless otherwise provided for by law or other statutory provisions.
- Once an order has been placed in the online shop, the buyer automatically receives an email confirming that the online shop has received the order.
- Upon submitting an order, the buyer is bound to pay the purchase price of the ordered goods.
- If the seller is unable to fulfil the order, or part of it, within the order processing period despite making every effort to do so, they may cancel the order and will notify the buyer of this by email.
- The seller also has the right to cancel an order if the buyer has provided false or misleading information in the order that cannot be verified, such as an incorrect first name, surname or email address. If the buyer has paid a deposit, the seller is obliged to refund it within 14 days.
- The buyer also agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of the online shop operator, which are published on the website https://inviton.eu/terms-and-conditions/.
Article IV.
Terms of payment
- The buyer can pay for the service via the website https://cinematik.sk or https://inviton.sk.
- The price of reserved, or selected, services can be paid in the following ways:
- By payment card via the internet system 24-pay. The buyer can pay with VISA and MASTERCARD. They can use the listed cards issued by any banking institution.
- Internet banking through the bank where the buyer holds their account, and its logo is located on the website where they complete the service reservation.
Article V.
Delivery terms
- After the payment has been processed and confirmed, the buyer is redirected to the website https://inviton.sk And the purchased voucher can be found in the „My Tickets“ section. Purchased services are also sent to the buyer's email.
- The buyer can download the voucher in .pdf format and print it. The buyer will find the voucher in their Inviton mobile app in the „My Tickets“ section after logging in.
- A voucher purchased from the e-shop must be exchanged for a Festival Pass card at the festival centre during the event. The address and opening hours of the festival centre are published on the website. https://cinematik.sk.
- Reservations can be made for film screenings. Detailed information on the terms and conditions, and how to do so, can be found on the website https://cinematik.sk/rezervacie.
- We recommend that buyers who have not made a booking arrive at the film screening well in advance to secure a suitable seat.
- The seller reserves the right to change the event programme.
- The seller undertakes to notify the buyer without delay via https://cinematik.sk about any changes that occurred during the event.
- If the Buyer requires an invoice to be issued, they must request this in advance by email at festival@cinematik.sk. In that case, they do not complete the Order via the online shop.
Article VI.
Transfer of ownership
- The right of ownership passes from the seller to the buyer only at the moment of payment of the full price for the subject of the purchase contract.
- The Seller reserves the right, in the event of a complaint being lodged by the Buyer, to settle matters relating to services covered by the Seller’s right of ownership only once full payment for the subject matter of the contract of sale has been made.
Article VII.
Consumer information
- Given that the seller allows tickets to be purchased on this website, these cannot be returned within 14 days of the date of delivery, in accordance with Act No. 102/2014 Coll. on consumer protection in the sale of goods or the provision of services. Specifically, pursuant to Section 7(6) of Act No. 102/2014 Coll., it is not possible to withdraw from the contract even if the subject of the supply is the provision of services involving leisure activities and under which the seller undertakes to provide these services at an agreed time or within an agreed period.
Article VIII.
Data Protection
- Personal data is processed in accordance with the requirements of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Z. z. for the purposes of complying with these general terms and conditions and ensuring the correct processing of your order.

Article IX.
Final Provisions
- Both the seller and the operator of the online shop reserve the right to amend and supplement these general terms and conditions without prior notice to the buyer. In the event of any changes to the general terms and conditions or the complaints procedure, the entire purchasing process shall be governed by the general terms and conditions that were in force at the time the buyer placed their order, and these are available on the seller’s website.
- By placing an order, the buyer confirms that they have read and agree to the General Terms and Conditions.
- These general terms and conditions are available for buyers to inspect at the company's registered office and are published on the seller's website.
- If a consumer is not satisfied with the way in which the seller has dealt with their complaint, or if they believe that the seller has infringed their rights, they may contact the seller to request a remedy. If the seller rejects the request for redress or fails to respond to it within 30 days of the date on which it was sent, the consumer has the right, pursuant to Section 12 of Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on the alternative resolution of consumer disputes and amending certain acts, to submit a request to initiate alternative dispute resolution. The competent body for the alternative resolution of consumer disputes with the e-shop operator is the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority (www.soi.sk) or another competent authorised legal entity registered in the list of alternative dispute resolution bodies maintained by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic; the consumer has the right to choose which of the aforementioned alternative dispute resolution bodies to approach. The consumer may also use the online dispute resolution platform, available at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. Consumers can find information on the fees for submitting a claim on the website of the relevant alternative dispute resolution body.
- Unless otherwise amended in these General Terms and Conditions or their inseparable parts (annexes), the relationships shall be governed by the relevant provisions, primarily of Act No. 40/1964 Coll., Act No. 250/2007 Coll., Act No. 102/2014 Coll., Act No. 122/2013 Coll., Act No. 22/2004 Coll., as well as Act No. 513/1991 Coll.
- These General Terms and Conditions, including their inseparable parts, shall take effect on 1 May 2026.
