Booger

After the sudden and unexpected death of her best friend Izzy, Anna struggles to cope with the loss of a loved one and move on with her life. While cleaning her room, looking for a photo album, Izzy’s cat, Booger, bites Anna’s hand and runs out of the apartment. Anna runs after him, but to no avail. Booger is gone. Gradually, an intense, all-consuming grief for Izzy as well as her concern for the lost Booger takes hold of Anna. Her hearing and eyesight sharpen, she growls at animals, chews her hair with gusto, coughs up clumps of hair. Her life and body are undergoing a transformation.
