FILMEU Film School and the process of internationalisation in Slovakia

Slovakia, together with seven European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Lithuania, Portugal), has responded to the request of the European Commission and, through the Academy of Performing Arts, is participating in the FILMEU project, the purpose of which is to establish a European Film School. Comprehensive training in film education not only creates new opportunities but also imposes challenges on already existing regional film schools. Jan Pátek and Natalie Št’astná from the European Parliament Office in Slovakia, Jana Keeble and Adam Straka from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava will discuss together what opportunities the European Union can offer to Slovakia.
