Exhibition opening: Adrián Krišák – Wood

Balamuta is a visual and functional project by Adrian Krišák and Nikoleta Gajarová. He works with solid wood, while she illustrates and designs. Adrian Krišák, also a member of the musical group 52 Hertz Whale, operates at the intersection of design and craftsmanship. His passion for wood and Japanese tools has led to the creation of his own work. All pieces are created in response to increasingly inaccessible housing, where young people, often moving frequently, want to take timeless and smaller objects with them. These objects are characterized not only by minimalism but also by traditional woodworking techniques. The collection focuses on simplicity, clean lines, and the combination of carpentry with handwoven Danish paper cord.
