The Wild Bunch

Sam Peckinpah

1913. In a few months’ time, one of the greatest war conflicts in human history is about to break out, changing the whole world forever. In the age of steam, the Wild West has also begun to change irrevocably. Stagecoaches are gradually replaced by trains and the first cars begin to drive across the wilderness. Outlaws are no longer the rulers of the West. It is sheriffs, mayors and generals. The fierce loyalty of the old gunslingers has fallen victim to men who only yesterday were outlaws, but today are murdering in the name of the law. Pike Bishop, with his wild bunch, is on a last job that should provide them all with enough money for a peaceful retirement.
