U – July 22

Film U – July 22 is inspired by real events that occurred on this tragic day in 2011 on a Norwegian island when right-wing extremist Anders Breivik killed 77 people. The film observes the principle of unity of place and time, and is made in the form of a single shot. Suggestive camera tracks the main protagonist, 18-year-old Kaja, and other scared teenagers who don’t know what’s going on. They can hear uninterrupted firing, run in panic and try to hide.
