Gaby Babić
(Germany)
Gaby Babić studied in Frankfurt and Paris and holds an M.A. in Theatre, Film and Media Studies, Political Science and German Literature. From 2005 to 2007 she worked at the Goethe Institute Sarajevo as a Programme Coordinator, 2007/2008 at the University Konstanz in the research project “Visual Cultures in Serbia”. Since 2008 she has worked as a curator and cultural manager for several film festival and cultural institutions. She is member of the collective “reel to real”, presenting experimental and documentary film in Frankfurt. Since September 2010 she is the director of goEast – Festival of Central and Eastern European Film, Wiesbaden.
Matthieu Darras

Matthieu Darras is Artistic Director of the TorinoFilmLab, and collaborates with various film talents initiatives such as Venice Biennale College, Jerusalem Film Lab or When East Meets West’s First Cut Lab. He founded & directed the European Network of Young Cinema NISI MASA and wrote for the film magazine Positif. He worked as a curator for various film festivals, notably for Cannes’ Semaine de la Critique. He is delegate in charge of Eastern Europe for San Sebastián Film Festival.
Mária Ferenčuhová

Mária Ferenčuhová is a film scholar, a translator and a poet. She is an associate professor at the Film and Television Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava where she teaches the theory and history of documentary cinema and she holds seminars focused on the rhetoric of the documentary film. She translates poetry, fiction and non-fiction from French language. She is the author of three collections of poems: Skryté titulky (2003), Princíp neistoty (2008) and Ohrozený druh (2012) and a monograph called Odložený čas. Filmové pramene, historiografia, dokumentárny film (2009). She’s a co-author and editor of two books – Dokumentárny film v krajinách V4 (2014) and Nový slovenský film (2015, with Katarína Mišíková).
